All roads lead to Sturgis 2010
A small but growing group of us are already starting to make plans to attend the 70th Anniversary of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The 2010 Rally will take place August 9th -15th. Stay tuned for more information and links. Anyone interested in joining us or meeting us there can contact me at eaglesflyfree@comcast.net or simply subscribe to this web site using the RSS subscription options located above the search bar in the upper right corner of this page. We will be riding from northern Illinois. Some will ride, some will trailer and some we will just meet there. Some will camp, some will RV and some, I’m sure, will be in hotels. We don’t care what you ride or what you drive, so long as you do it safely. (Speaking for myself, I take a very slow and easy pace – no more than 300-400 miles a day – because getting there is half the fun

 2000 HD ElectraGlide Welcome to EaglesRideFree.com, a riding blog that invites you along for the ride. Together we will travel aboard a 2000 Harley Davidson Electra Glide, exploring and experiencing the world around us. My Harley and I have traveled across the country four times, we have ridden extensively throughout the beautiful mountains and deserts of Arizona and in 2009 we made our first journey to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We will begin with this most recent journey to Sturgis, then we will re-visit some trips of the past in between those we take in the present. We will travel to interesting places and, of course, meet many interesting people. As fellow travelers, you will get to know me and I, hopefully, will get to know you. I thank you for coming along on this journey and look forward to riding with you for many miles to come. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down and always enjoy the ride! |
